Here comes Peter Cottonmouth: This year, Easter Sunday falls on the North American holiday known as 4/20. It’s tainted from the start, so let’s just run with it and hotbox the holy sepulchre.
“Jesus died for somebody’s synth, but not mine,” proclaims Nuclear Family’s Nikolaj Tange Lange. Plotting a resurrection of his own, he is performing again with his ex-husband and -bandmate Andreas after a four-year split. A Nuclear Family Reunion, you could say. Also on stage will be a cult duo whom we can’t announce just yet, but in the meantime, we can say they are fittingly named to take part on such a special day.
A transgenre cross section of local talent will be at your service from behind the DJ booth: rRoxymore, signed to Planningtorock’s Human Level imprint, will play psychedelic tech-house; Heatsick, known for his work on PAN and CockTail d’Amore Music, will mix Italo and hi-NRG; Joey Hansom, host of Expatriarch Radio (episode #50 airs in April!), will fuse twisted electro and R&B; Alternegro, known for his Tuesday night residency at Ficken3000, will blend disco and house; and Cut Loose will play system-smashing bass and beats with a pop edge.
Join us for a special night of plastic grass and kind bud.
