Golden Tulip Berlin Hotel Hamburg (Closed Permanently) Formerly: Ring Hotel

No ratings yet
Somewhere between budget and standard
A business- and convention-friendly hotel that doubles as a very good deal for anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel with moderately cool modern design that is easy walking distance from Schöneberg's many gay offerings. 189 rooms, plus an apartment, all done up with a new design in 2011. Originally opened in 1966 as the Ring Hotel, later rebranded as the Golden Tulip with a subtitle that namechecks the Hamburg origins of the owner, who died in 2015 after 49 years at this establishment. His surviving wife took over in October 2016. U-Bahns: Wittenbergplatz and Nollendorfstraße.
