Non-profit organisation started in 1987 to promote the work of gay and lesbian film-makers, culminating in the annual TEDDY Awards, initiated by German film-makers Wieland Speck and Manfred Salzgeber and given in February at the Berlin International Film Festival. Proper name is Förderverein TEDDY.
