Berlin women's center
A multi-function resource and social center for women of all ages, backgrounds and sexual orientations, EWA sets out to “to empower women to support and bring feminist issues into the public consciousness”. Started in 1990, the 'Frauenzentrum' stages workshops, lectures, discussions and social events and provides counselling. The complex includes computers, an art gallery, a café and a women's lending library with more than 4,500 books and magazines. U-Bahns: Rosa-Luxembourg-Platz and Senefelderplatz.
