(18 Ratings)
Instantly popular gay-run food destination

Three bear/bear-hugging homosexuals — an Irishman, Englishman and American — opened this light and airy indoor/outdoor restaurant at the Axel Hotel in January 2016, in the space previously occupied by Hamburger Mary's. Retro burgers and novelty atmosphere have been replaced by modern European takes on rack of lamb and green risotto, served in a coolly stylish setting. Hot staff and great food

Food is always great - and my tip is the chicken with ricotta. And the amazing Panna Cotta! The hot staff makes the place even more enjoyable

A fun night had by all

I stopped by for a drink at the bar. I then decided to stay for a meal. Hanging out at the bar was very fun and the meal was delicious!

this place is awesome

The bartenders are very friendly and will chat freely. They offer advice on anything you ask. They made a recommendation for their home made raviolis which were awesome. They change up what the raviolis are filled with and so far nothing has been anything but excellent. My husband had a dish with mushrooms. He is not a mushroom fan, but the way they were cooked he loves. His plate was clean at the end. I highly recommend them to anyone heading to Berlin.

I was very impressed with the cocktails, the tasty dinner, and the overall friendly staff. I will be back!
