GMF (at Mein Haus am See)

(26 Ratings)
High-up late-night Sunday night/Monday morning party

Popular monthly end-of-weekend, DJ-driven house/electro/disco/urban dance club organised by Boy Young, who's been doing it since the mid-1990s. Attracts a rather young, trendy and image-savvy crowd who make an effort. In 2015 GMF shifted from AVENUE club to 2BE Club, not too far off, still in Mitte, and just off Alexanderplatz. The summer of 2017 was spent on the top floor of House of Weekend (Alexanderstraße 7, Mitte), and in April 2019 shifted to the Kreuzberg club Ritter Butzke, nor...

A Fun Club

Although predominately young and trendy, the club's setting in a tower block with an amazing terrace bar as a chill out space is brilliant. The music is better on the 15th floor but not good as club music in Madrid, Barcelona or London. A bit of attitude from the younger ones which makes it a bit provincial by world standards, but it is a fun club and has a good vibe. Go there!

Berlin, Sunday evening? visiting GMF, it is definitely worth visiting in summer, it is a club on 3 floors electronic, pop and the best on the roof top terrace with lounge music and a view over Berlin.

THE place to be on a sunday!

I went to SchwuZ the night before and got a free entry ticket for GMF. Me and my friend didn't wanna go out on a sunday for several reasons: we got too wasted the past 3 nights already and wanted to relax; we thought, a sunday night might be crap as people have to work on mondays... etc. I can only say: LUCKILY we went there. Even better that it was for free. Loved the venue, two floors. 12th floor of that building plays pop/rnb/chart-music, while on the 15th floor they play electronic music. The place was packed. People were in a good mood, music was good (at least for me & my friend's taste). The place itself I liked, too (deco, etc). Of all nights I went to clubs in Berlin, this was the best one. My friend also favorited this night.
