Twice a month — once for gay men and once for lesbians — this celebrated Josef Kaiser/Herbert Aust-designed Socialist-era cinema, opened in 1963 and intact, becomes a throwback gay disco pumping mostly indie electro sounds. Started in 2000, the parties do not take place in the actual theatre but in three different rooms: the former library, youth club and Panorama Bar – all part of the original complex. When I went it got empty to early (4 am ish) and was slow before. ( only one floor busy...ish. Worth going to only if no other good parties
