Gegen (at KitKatClub)

No ratings yet
Queer mecca

An arty and underground-thinking monthly 12-hour gay party with an emphasis on visuals and performance, marked by a history of variations on the name (Gegen Addiction, Gegen Family, Gegen Pop etc). 'Gegen' translates as 'anti' (or 'around'). Music is techno, electro and beyond. Dress code: "Festive, gala, sumptuos, majestic, ceremonial, polished, jubilant, celebrative, evening gown, extravagant". It's more often than not based at KitKatClub, but also at RSO.Berlin (Schnellerstraße 137, 12439) and other locations. U-Bahns: Moritzplatz and Heinrich-Heine-Straße.
