Marco Prandi's earthy and welcoming Italian establishment is something of a best kept secret despite its excellent repuration, perhaps owing to its location in the section of the Motzstraße close to Viktoria-Luise-Platz (rather than the gay catwalk to the east of the Martin-Luther-Straße). Home-made pasta, meat and fish dishes are all executed with a certain flair and authenticity. Decor is on the busy side, but this is rather the real deal in an Italian sort of way. The restaurant's name translates as 'political coup'. Open daily, roughly 5pm–11pm. Opened 1996. Closed for much of July (and very late June). U-Bahn: Viktoria- Luise Platz.
