Café Savigny (Closed Permanently)

No ratings yet
1980s institution

A Charlottenburg local with a certain discerning, trendy and/or arty clientele and a history going back to the 1980s. The rooms are not overly decorated (near-sterile?) but there's a quiet and knowing buzz here, and the food's good, with breakfast served until 4pm. Located just north of the Kantstraße and several minutes north of Uhlandstraße U-Bahn. Sadly in 2022, after 40 years, citing the pandemic, scaffolding and expected renovation costs, Savigny shut.
