Exquisitely precious, pricey and lovely corner establishment marked by its impressive selection of international chocolate. Hot chocolate is served in a quaint café area, and pastries (from the local Tim's) are among the finest you'll find in the area. Beautiful dark wooden shelving and cabinets give the effect of an old bookstore, but with the reading material replaced by a voluminous stash of cocoa-based items. In actuality the space started out in 1892 as an apothecary/pharmacy. Opened 2009, following four years at nearby Winterfeldtplatz location. Just four minutes south of Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn and many things gay, and seconds away from Korean eaterie Ixthys [see entry].
