A very useful jewel of a shop located just off the gay-heavy Fuggerstraße, which not only serves sandwiches and strong coffee (tables out front) but also bottles of beer that make for economic and oh so convenient purchases during the very populated Folsom street fair in September, when bar prices and queueing times can be a drag. Plus wine, snacks and much more. In 2009 Turkish owner Mesut opened Sawanna, which is pronounced like 'Savannah' and which translates (from the Eastern Turkey language of Zaza) as a welcoming message in the vein of 'what you would like'. Located next to recommended Italian restaurant Da Lucia and just round the corner from gay bars Prinzknecht and WOOF [see entries].
