A cave-like and undeniably local-feeling bar that opened in 2003 (formerly an Irish pub) but feels decades older, as if from a bygone era, especially with its walls of tile fragments and hints of wall paintings in the vein of an ancient ruin. There's a near-desperate but friendly atmosphere, and it's open round the clock with happy hours scattered across the afternoon, evening and night. Has a backroom and a sofa, but you might try here only after exhausting round-the-corner neighbours New Action and Bull [see entries]. The apostrophe in the title is a bit odd. As of 2019 still no phone number or website. AKA Tramp's for Friend's [sic].

Quiet, but handy
Most of the time the place is empty, which makes it a great place to meet someone. And if things work out, the backroom provides a few interesting opportunities.
