Spread across two floors, the bar operates an efficient system in which clothing (except underwear) and cash are left behind for a boot-only trawl through its extensive, moist and festery basement that is well-equipped with sling, cabins, gynaecological examination chair and a St Andrew's Cross. 2-for-1 drinks on Friday. Closed Monday and Thursday. Triebwerk = 'Engine' in English. U-Bahns: Schönleinstraße and Hermannplatz.

I've been going to this club for decades, even when the previous owner ran the club (called the "Dandy Club" back then) and the first owner's successor still ran the club. I left a lot of money there. Now I've been banned from the house because I allegedly "talked to people and said nonsense". When I asked what I was supposed to have said, the owner Kilian said in a hyper-aggressive tone that he wouldn't and didn't have to comment on it and told me to leave and not come back! In addition, I can advise against visiting the club for other reasons: there has been no renovation in decades, except for the installation of emergency exits after the fire in the Apollo Sauna. 17 € minimum consumption, which is difficult to overcome with non-alcoholic drinks. Then the club is in a no go area. As a queer person you have to be afraid of attacks because there are a lot of people there who don't like queer people!

waste your time and money
Once this was one of three night clubs for gays in the Urbanstr. One of them is already gone. The place is either totaly crowded or empty. Regarding the price they take for entry, those few days the bar is crowded are quite amazing. The prices are immodest for this neighborhood. The only reason for some people ending up in this location is, there is no better alternative around that place, and scene districts are quite far away.

Can not wait to go back to Berlin & Triebwerk. Naked, naked, naked. The way it should be.

Very good sex club at weekends. Facilities and atmosphere are just hot, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
