The Berlin gay district, Schöneberg, becomes a maelstrom of gayness, Germanness and Christmasness every year during the annual Christmas Avenue festival. Look out for the drag bingo, stunning light shows, and the "Face of Christmas Avenue" competition. Ah yes, and the dancing.
As a bonus, all of the proceeds benefit LGBTQ+ nonprofits throughout Germany.
