We live in a post-Brexit world. Or are we? Last week’s referendum is still making big waves in the UK, with questions popping up faster than they can ever be answered. Will there be consequences for the global music industry? What will change for artists, bookers, labels and fans? First and foremost: How will the Brexit affect the daily routines of British musicians and other protagonists of the creative industry?
With „Cut the Britain, drop the Bass?“, Das Filter will try to answer at least some of these questions. Please join us for an open panel discussion with Melissa Taylor (founder of Berlin-based promotion agency Tailored Communication), Jay Ahern (CEO of Irrupt, sound design and production company, and long time music industry insider), Mathew Dryhurst (musician and founder of music-focused publishing platform Saga) and Peter Kirn (founder Create Digital Music, artist). Moderator: Thaddeus Herrmann (Das Filter, Radio Fritz). This event will be held in english.
