FitX Fitnessstudio (Berlin-Alexanderplatz) (Mitte)

The Mitte branch of the budget gym enterprise started in 2007 in Essen, seemingly inspired by McFit, with round-the-clock opening hours and decent basic design. As of 2023 there are more than 100 FitX gyms in Germany (12 of them in Berlin), with this two-floor outlet having something of a gay reputation, though somewhat disputed by an employee who instead pointed to the Schöneberg location [see entry]. Opened 2009. Just a minute's walk from Alexanderplatz U-Bahn.
