A love letter to old Berlin, overseen by grande dame and chanteuse Angelika Rüdiger, who is joined every Friday by pianist Timo Tietz. Located in the non-gay-catwalk wing of the Motzstraße (southwest of Viktoria-Luise-Platz), this is a warm and very decorated space, with comfortingly familiar and filling food on a menu that veers from Leberknödelsuppe (liver dumpling soup) and Gulaschsuppe to fish, fried chicken, wursts, schnitzels and steaks, including Rumpsteak "Dracula". Opened 1999. Vegetarians are also accommodated (including a celery schnitzel). Kitchen closes at 11pm. U-Bahn: Viktoria-Luise-Platz.
