Meierei

(1 Rating)
Delectable Alpen specialties worth the trek

Small but high-ceilinged quiet hot spot in the heart of trendy middle-class Prenzlauer Berg, Meierei serves Swiss specialties, including what could be Berlin's finest Apfelstrudel, with vanilla sauce preferred. The daily-changing savoury menu is not expansive, but everything from the Wurst to the bread is of outstanding quality. Out front there are a couple of long tables to accommodate the big plates, with garden seating options out back. Closes a bit earlier on Wednesdays, and now closed on Sundays. U-Bahn: Senefelderplatz

Favourite Berlin strudel, but also super lunches (from a reassuringly limited menu).
