nice
great location as you walk to many bars and shops. subway is 5 minutes away. comfortable beds. neighborhood felt safe. downtown berlin is like 10minutes by subway. spa and bathing area are nice and get pretty interesting late at night.!! diverse crowd. odd to see so many straight people at a gay hotel. i am not sure what they were expecting.front staff always seem to know where the party was/club to go to. if you want to imerse yourself in the "gayborhood", this would be a fine location to do so.
Great hotel and location
Had a great time during the long Easter weekend at tha Axel. Staff was very nice and helpful when asking questions. Rooms are a little small by American standards, but the junior suite I had was perfect. The location cannot be beat. Steps away from all the bars, restaurants and of course the KA DE WE!! I look forward returning for New Year's.
Heterofriendly
The Axel Hotel advertises itself as Heterofriendly. This is a gay hotel, through and through. And given its location, it's in the perfect spot. It's right in the heart of Berlin's Schoeneberg neighborhood. The rooms are contemporary and very comfortable. The staff was exceptional. They were able to help with just about anything, including ideas for shopping and dinner. The hotel is a short block away from the Wittenbergplatz UBahn station. Again, that makes the location superb.

More maturing
I love this hotel.Very clean and sophisticated. Jacuzzi is the best I like.The people who stay here should be openly! I want this hotel to distinguish the wet area and dry area. A show water is waving to reclining seat.
