A warm, woody, welcoming and unstuffy restaurant with a candlelit glow and unfinished-style walls with hints of cave paintings, opened in 1989 but with an older and more classic. The place has its own quiet rhythms, and the Italian dishes are home-made and a smidgen better than very good. Not expensive either. Located within easy walking distance of several Kreuzberg gay institutions including Möbel-Olfe and Roses Bar [see entries]. U-Bahn: Kottbusser Tor.
Atmosphere, food and prices all particularly pleasing.
